officially published projects
It all started with LSBrandi modding. The LSBrandi Modding Team had the Planai AddOn including a matching mod pack as a large project. With this team, the foundation stone for the current Alpine 3D design was laid and that was also the start of the ski region Simulator 2012 modding scene!
One or the other was not yet perfectly developed here, but that has all evolved over the years ;D
A year of modding pure!
The first experiences with the community were made and one or the other nasty surprise was mastered. The last year has brought a lot of turbulence, but every entry is difficult! The first version of the TechnoAlpin Pack, which makes snowmaking in the SRS a lot more interesting, has been published.
The foundation of the MMT’s
It was so far! Another founding of a new modding team took place. The MMT was officially founded on April 4, 2015. There was also, as in 2013, at LSBrandi Modding, a map as a project.
Development of the LSBrandi Modding
The LSBrandi Modding never sleeps either. The progress of the Planai AddOn went ahead. On August 17th the Planai Beast V 1.3 was released. A new project was announced towards the end of the year. Grosseck! This increased the hype a lot.
Alpin 3D Design
It was so far! The LSBrandi Modding and the Mountain Modding were one! From now on it went steeply uphill. One of the projects was the TechnoAlpin Pack V4.0. A lot was responded to requests from the community so that the majority of requests were included and everyone got their money’s worth. A lot of features have been integrated, but that’s not all;)
After more than three years of hard development, the A3D decided to release the first beta of the Planai. Then pause the project due to the high level of detail that you wanted to provide with the map.
One year Alpin 3D Design
The first birthday was something special. We discovered the live stream function on YouTube, where we demonstrated the progress of our projects live to our community. Furthermore, two new map projects (Bachl / Brunn) followed this year, which were presented with a respective teaser on YouTube.
Another followed in addition to the two existing map projects. Edelsee The map brought some novelties with it. From a curved surface lift to the functional combination lift from Leitner Ropeways, everything was there.
The TechnoAlpin Lance Pack was released on December 27th as a small Christmas present.
The development of a major expansion began as early as 2017 to make snowmaking more efficient. Part of the A3D was very interested in a realistic snow-making system in the SRS. In real practice, this was not a problem either! From a realistic startup process to a great global menu. ASC brought a lot with it, but so did development.
The first pictures were circulating on the net. The Prinoth Pack is in the works! However, like any of the A3D projects, it was large in scope and so had not yet been published.
But Edelsee and the Sufag V2.1 were also constantly being further developed.
It was so far
Everything turned out differently than it should. Because of the terrible pandemic, everything was different. A presentation livestream has been announced. After him, everyone was well supplied with information, but nobody knew what would happen the next day.
A small mini-mod (snow blower mod) was made available to you to sweeten your time at home.
But that’s not enough!
Sufag pack V2.1
The time has finally come! On May 19th the SRS Sufag Pack was updated. but that’s not it yet. We tried our hand at the Winter Resort Simulator, which was released in 2019, and developed the Sufag Pack, which followed on June 23. The WRS Sufag Pack was often fed with updates that contained many new functions that cannot be taken for granted.
This pack gave us sleepless nights, but it was made available to you for free on December 2nd. Everyone was looking forward to it and despite the remaining conditions, you could also venture a virtual tour behind the scenes of the ski resort.
Outlook for 2021
To briefly look back on 2020, the WRS Sufag Pack was brought into Season 2 of the game. Full multiplayer support and the well-known features were adored.
On February 20th the time had come. Although not everything went according to plan, the map got its 2nd version + a few skins of the Prinoth pack, matching the map!
The map is not yet error-free, but we are working on fixing this as soon as possible
This is a consistent further development of Artificail Snow.Control in the WRS and is our only current project for the WRS
